Private international law legal assistance includes the drafting and analysis of contracts containing provisions indicating the foreign legal order to which it is to be subject.

According to Article 4(1) p.p.m., a choice of applicable law may be made in the cases provided for by the law. Pursuant to Article 4(2) p.p.m., the choice of law should be express or clearly apparent from the circumstances of the case, unless the provision allowing the choice of law provides otherwise. A choice of applicable law may also be made, in principle, after the legal relationship has arisen. Such a choice is presumed to be without prejudice to the rights of third parties.
